Not long ago the verdict was given in the case of the killing of three individual Sumatran tigers, now this protected animal was found again in a state of being killed in Krueng Baung Hamlet, Peunaron District, East Aceh Regency on Wednesday 22 February 2023.
Currently, the police and several BKSDA officers have secured the location. After the health team arrives, a necropsy will certainly be carried out to determine the cause of death of the Sumatran tiger in the interior of East Aceh.
Apart from the Aceh BKSDA team, partner elements have also been at the location to help secure the location and provide a police line. They don't know the age and sex of the tiger that died, because a necropsy has not been carried out.
His party admitted that not far from the location of the tiger carcass, two goat carcasses were also found right in the residents' land area.
Other information obtained, was on the stomach of the Sumatran tiger, incision wounds were found with a sharp weapon. Allegedly, the tiger died as a result of being killed. However, until this news was published, there had been no official statement from the Aceh BKSDA, because the officers had not performed a necropsy.
